![]() ![]() Overall, these are well made shades and good value for the price. One of them is a bit quicker than the other even though I made sure to charge both batteries fully before installing them in the shades. One bit of annoyance is that the speed at which the two shades operate is different. I also programed opening and closing times for the shades based on sunrise and sunset times and it's very convenient to have this happen automatically. Once setup, I could control the shades as a group via the remote or via the app. Once paired with the hub, the remote no longer needs the repeater. But by doing so, it reset the shades and lost the original link to the remote, so I had to pair the remote to the Hub in order to operate it via the remote, none of this is mentioned in the instructions, so I had to search for this online as well. The app walks through the process of pairing the shades to the Hub one at a time. Making the shades SMART involved pairing the shades to the Dirigera Hub. The repeater needs to be plugged-in for the remotes to work. There were no instructions included to link both shades to one remote, but I found instructions for it online. Setting the max height was a bit of trial and error and matching the height on both shades took a bit of work. This causes a gap when the shades are closed so it's not a true blackout shade for me, since there is about a 2-inch deep gap on either side between the shade and window. The FYRTUR line consists of 8 sizes, spanning 23 inches wide all the way up to 48 inches, each sharing the same 76 inch length. ![]() Discovered today by u/grumpybaboon on Reddit, most sizes of the FYRTUR lineup are available to order for home delivery. ![]() I did an outside install because the shades were too wide to fit inside the window casing. At long last, IKEA's HomeKit enabled FYRTUR smart blinds are finally available to purchase online. Each one is 76 inches long when the shade is fully extended, but the width varies from 23 inches (129) up to 48 inches. The installation was relatively easy, but it would have been better if there were some instructions on placement of mounting brackets. Available now, Ikea's Fyrtur smart shades come in eight different sizes. Good buy for the price but could be smarter Rajesh I purchased two of these shades to install on side-by-side windows. ![]()
